From EA Games, the Battlefield 2142 Multiplayer Demo includes 1 level demonstrating the wide variety of vehicles and the new "Titan" mode.

Fix for problem starting the demo

The demo didn't come with the Direct X files that it should have. If you have trouble starting the game (which you most likely will do) then download the Direct 3D DLL linked above and extract it to either your game directory or the system32 folder in your Windows directory.
