Member Ranks

When someone signs up to NovaTek they are given Alpha clearance. This allows that person to add content to NovaTek, but with small restrictions. When the user shows awareness of the culture and maturity, they can ask to have their clearance increased. A break down of access levels follows:

Alpha

• Can create content pages (ie, a game review)
• Can create news blogs, but requires approval from higher ranks before showing on the homepage.
• Can edit content pages
• Can delete their own images from galleries

Beta

• Permitted to publish news directly on the homepage
• Can promote news items from Alpha members to visible on the homepage

Gamma

• Can delete news and content items that are less than 48 hours old
• Can rollback content pages to previous revisions
• Can delete any image from galleries
• Can edit news blogs

Delta

• Can delete any news or content page
• Can edit TOC keys

Even Delta level clearance isn't admin. Admins have Delta clearance but are able to edit the entire site, not just news and section content. No public member (Alpha - Delta) can promote other members, you need to speak with an administrator to receive a promotion.
